Robert "Bobby" April, Jr. (born April 15, 1953) is an American football special teams coach for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League. He was hired by the Eagles on January 14, 2010 after being released from the Buffalo Bills, along with the rest of the Bills' coaching staff, on January 4, 2010.[1]
April started his coaching career in college football, coaching at Southern Mississippi, Tulane, Arizona and the University of Southern California.
April has coached at the NFL level with the Atlanta Falcons, Pittsburgh Steelers, New Orleans Saints, St. Louis Rams, Buffalo Bills and Philadelphia Eagles.
He has won two Special teams coach of the year awards, one in 2004, and another in 2008.
